Group therapy may sound intimidating at first, but group therapy can be a powerful and more effective therapy for you. Group therapy can:

  • act like a support network, offers the opportunities to receive and give support.
  • make you feel you are not alone in struggling and validate your feelings and experiences.
  • help you gain different perspectives, and learn strategies and skills from others.
  • increase self-awareness, provide a space for you to be aware of your interpersonal tendency, thus to learn and gain behavior change.
